The Scarpe-Escaut Regional Nature Park organises a food walk in Rosult! On the programme: a guided 5 km hike lasting about 2 hours, discovering two local farms, followed by a local produce market in a friendly guinguette atmosphere.
Several departures are offered throughout the morning: 9am, 9:30am, 10am, 10:30am, 11am, 11:30am. The walks are free but registration is required.

📍 Twin slag heaps, Loos-en-Gohelle
Climbing the twin slag heaps of Loos-en-Gohelle is an experience to try at least once! At 186 metres altitude, they are the highest slag heaps in Europe.
Guided nature walks allow you to discover the remarkable biodiversity that has recolonised these mining spaces, while enjoying an exceptional panoramic view over the entire mining basin. A meeting point between nature, sport and UNESCO heritage.

📍 Twin slag heaps of Loos-en-Gohelle (Pas-de-Calais)
It’s an experience to try at least once in a lifetime: climbing a slag heap, these iconic artificial hills of the mining basin, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The ascent of the twin slag heaps of Loos-en-Gohelle, peaking at nearly 190 meters, offers an exceptional panorama over the entire mining basin. At the summit, the view extends on clear days all the way to the English Channel coast. It’s also the opportunity to understand the unique geography of this territory marked by the mining industry.
Guided tours are organized regularly, allowing visitors to discover the wildlife and flora that have recolonized these spaces since the end of mining operations. A journey between nature, history and remarkable landscape.
