    It’s the perfect opportunity to combine culture and local gastronomy, in a warm atmosphere. The lord of the manor takes you on a journey to the time of knights, before treating you to local products from the Northern terroir.

  • Costumed Tour of the Donjon de Bours with the Lord of Bours

    📅 From July 6 to August 30, 2026, Tuesdays and Fridays at 3:30pm
    📍 29 rue de l’Église, Maison du Donjon, 62550 Bours

    The Lord of Bours welcomes you to the Donjon for a remarkable costumed tour! Travel back to the Middle Ages through this lively animation where the lord himself tells you the story of his fortress.

    The Donjon de Bours, an architectural jewel of the Pays d’Artois, reveals itself differently with its thick walls, arrow slits and chivalrous history. Children and adults alike will be captivated by this journey through time.

    Tours on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout summer 2026. A family outing not to be missed in the mining basin!
