    On Saturday 1 August 2026 from 6 PM to 10 PM, the Esplanade Mitterrand in Bruay-La-Buissiere hosts a night market that’s both gourmet and convivial. Local producers, artisans and entertainment await you for a summer evening in the mining basin.

    A 100% local market
    The night markets of Bruay-La-Buissiere have become a must-attend summer event. You’ll find fresh produce from local farmers, regional crafts and local specialities to enjoy on site. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover the flavours of the terroir in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.

    For the whole family
    Musical entertainment, gourmet stalls and a summer atmosphere are on the programme. A second night market is also scheduled for Saturday 22 August 2026.

  • Arts Workshops Exhibition: Summer Creations in Bruay-la-Buissière

    The town of Bruay-la-Buissière exhibits the works created in the municipal Arts Workshops. Paintings, sculptures, ceramics and other original creations are presented to the public, the result of the year-round work of the workshop participants.

    This exhibition is an opportunity to discover local talents and witness the artistic vitality of the mining basin. From abstract painting to figurative sculptures, including mixed creations, the exhibited works showcase the diversity and creativity of Bruay’s artists.

    The exhibition closes on July 25 — come and admire these creations before it’s too late!

  • Funfair in Bruay-La Buissière: Concerts, Fireworks and Rides

    The Bruay-La Buissière funfair returns for five days of festivities! Rides, attractions for young and old, candy stalls and fairground booths enliven the town throughout this summer week.

    On Saturday July 12, the day starts at 8am with the traditional morning market. The highlight: the concert and fireworks on Sunday July 13 at 10pm, a magical moment not to be missed!

    Monday July 14 is Bastille Day with entertainment from 7pm. And on Tuesday July 15, the fair continues for one last ride.

    A warm and family-friendly atmosphere, typical of Northern France’s fairs!

    On the eve of Bastille Day, Bruay-La-Buissière celebrates with a grand pyrotechnic show at the Stade Paul Guerre! The fireworks display is preceded by a concert for a festive outdoor evening.

    Come and admire the illuminations from the stands or around the stadium. A highlight of the Bruaysien summer, to be enjoyed with the whole family. Free admission.
