Arleux Smoked Garlic Fair 2026: The Douaisis Emblematic Festival

The Arleux Smoked Garlic Fair celebrates its 64th edition on 5, 6 and 7 September 2026! It is one of the most popular festivals in northern France, attracting nearly 60,000 visitors each year to this small commune in the Douaisis.

🧄 A unique product — For over 200 years, Arleux has been the only town in France producing smoked garlic, a traditional product smoked over oak, beech and ash wood. This unique know-how is at the heart of the festival, with the garlic braiding competition, the famous garlic soup tasting (5,000 litres prepared in 2 days!) and the election of the Garlic Queen.

🎤 Programme:
– Saturday 6 September: market, garlic soup tasting, garlic braiding competition, election of Miss & Mister Arleux with concert
– Sunday 7 September: market, concerts with Logan Wales, tributes to France Gall and Jenifer, grand show by Jean-Luc Lahaye
– Monday 8 September: cabaret evening at the village hall
