📅 Vernissage on Friday 13 November 2026, at the Douai art school
📍
This autumn, the [Douai art school](https://www.douai.fr/exposition-cedric-lestiennes) is hosting an exhibition by [Cédric Lestiennes](https://www.douai.fr/exposition-cedric-lestiennes), creator of a remarkable inventory of species… that never existed! A vernissage is scheduled for Friday [13 November 2026](https://www.douai.fr/exposition-cedric-lestiennes).
Drawing on old naturalist plates and cabinets of curiosities, the artist hijacks scientific conventions to compose, in ink and pencil, an imaginary fauna with the look of an Alice in Wonderland inventory.
Free.
Information on [the exhibition page](https://www.douai.fr/exposition-cedric-lestiennes) of the town of Douai. A fine dive into an imaginary world between science and art!
