The Fêtes de Gayant in Douai take place in July 2027. Sunday 11 July is the main parade of the giants Monsieur and Madame Gayant, Jacquot, Fillon and Binbin.
This heritage event is listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. For several days the city offers music, traditional dances, street entertainment and family shows. The procession of giants is the heart of the festival.
