From 19 September to 18 October 2026, the Lens-Liévin agglomeration celebrates the Heritage and Architecture Month! Over 50 free events are offered across the territory: guided tours, fun workshops, investigations, shows, performances and conferences.
🏛️ Highlights:
– 20 September: Tightrope walker between the slag heaps of Loos-en-Gohelle – a unique aerial show!
– 19-21 September: European Heritage Days – open doors at the Miners’ Trade Union Hall, Base 11/19, and more
– 2-3 October: Video Mapping Festival in Méricourt and Loos-en-Gohelle
– 4-5 October: Architecture fun days at the Miners’ Trade Union Hall
– 4 October: Visit to the water tower of Bully-les-Mines
– 18-19 October: National Architecture Days – discovery of the Cité d’Orient in Harnes
📍 « Regard(s) vers le(s) Haut(s) » Exhibition — From 5 September to 1 November, the Miners’ Trade Union Hall hosts a photographic exhibition on the « Villes et Pays d’art et d’histoire » labelled territories in the Hauts-de-France region, in partnership with the DRAC.
The not-to-be-missed event on 20 September: the tightrope crossing between the twin slag heaps of Loos-en-Gohelle by Tatiana Mosio-Bongonga, at 186 metres high without a harness!
