Open Days at the Mine and Railway Centre in Oignies

For the European Heritage Days, the Mine and Railway Centre opens its doors to the public!

Discover exceptional mining and railway heritage: steam engines, locomotives, railway models and the famous Pacific, a royal train from 1938. The Centre also houses one of the largest steam extraction engines in Europe.

Activities include three sections: small-scale models (railway models), live steam (steam and electric locomotives) and standard gauge (conservation of regional railway heritage).
